Itinerary

Day 1:   Drive from Kathgodam to Camp Purple Mukteshwar over night stay.  


Day 2:  Early morning after breakfast.   Drive to NAMIK VILLAGE. (8 hour drive)


Day 3:   Full day and Half day hikes to explore the place.   The hike is uphill to Bajemania (a camping point) 3 hour trek .  Lunch here.   Option for Camp out at Bajemania.   Or one can come back to the base site in (Chaani) for a night stay.


Day 4:   Namik Village exploration (village boasts a rich culture, showcasing  traditional practices like bamboo weaving and sheep shearing).   Lunch in Village houses in community style pure organic food servings.  Evening gathering with the community people with their local sounds and  instruments. Night party and dinner.


Day 5:  After an easy breakfast.  Drive to CAMP RIVEREDGE RAMGANGA (3 hour)   Tea break in Hokra village.  Reach for Lunch.  Easy evening around the camp. Dinner around the Bonfire.


Day 6:  After breakfast  Trek to the hidden cave- an uphill trek through the villages.   Lunch at the stream side.  Trek back by evening.  Night stay in the Camp Riveredge Ramganga. 


Or


A day in the river: Kayaking ,Slithering, Body surfing  Fishing - local style, Chill time on the beach.   Relaxed evening.  Morning Mountain biking trails in the surrounding valley.


Day 7:  After breakfast.  Rigoniya village experience.  Explore the village where we are staying. Relaxed evening at camp.  Have a peaceful time by the river with a bonfire.


Day 8:  Drive back to Kathgodam after early breakfast.

Trade village, nestled in Pithoragarh District, offers a unique experience of a shepherd's  last village. This organic village boasts a rich culture, showcasing traditional practices like  bamboo weaving and sheep shearing. It serves as a base for numerous expeditions,  including treks to Hiramani Glacier, Nanda Kund, and Kagudi Bhel pass.  The landscape features scenic chaanis (temporary sheds), lush meadows, and pristine  streams, adorned with diverse vegetation such as maple, kharsu, and buransh.  A highlight is Baal-Chan Kund, a sacred pond dedicated to the local deity, Baalchan.  From the village, one can explore breathtaking Himalayan peaks, including Chaukhamba,  Trishul, Nanda Devi, Pancha-Chuli, Raj Rambha, Situli, and even glimpses of the Nepal  Himalayas.  The journey to the village involves a steep downhill trek through dense forests, including  unique Ringaal forests, home to Himalayan Black Bears, and refreshing, chill water ponds.
