Wildrift has carefully chosen the settings of its camps in the Kumaon Himalayas for the discerning traveller. Which, quite naturally, means they’re not the kind of places frenzied holiday makers throng to in droves.
 
What you’ll find here, are mountains, trees, lakes, conifer-scented air, stars, birds, fish, the friendly villager, the odd leopard and perhaps the occasional ghost. And, if you’re not content to simply sit around surrounded by all of the above, there’s trekking, paragliding, rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, fishing and day dreaming.
  
Getting there:
Overnight train from Delhi to Kathgodam, where jeeps can be hired to go to one of the Wildrift camps or between 250 kms to 365 kms drive from Delhi on NH-24 via Moradabad to Kathgodam and beyond.
