Corporate Co-operate is strongly committed
to environmental and developmental concerns.
Our HRD training programme endeavour to
extend this belief and its application
to meet the needs of the corporate sector.
We believe that: -
sensitisation to meaningful concerns is
a good basis for sustained behavioural
change
(individuals who care for and can creatively
respond to substantive concerns are more
likely to contribute quality inputs to
their organisation).
learning in naturalistic settings helps
people relate better to each other, and
more importantly, to themselves
(the informal, totally 'non-office like'
setting, draws out the individual's 'true
self').
real-life situations/issues (as opposed
to simulated games) are more effective
tools for learning and create analogies
easily transferable to real work situation
(Adventure based activities and nature/development
based issues serve as the main thematic
training modules)
learning best translates into improved
knowledge and skills when a person is
in a resourceful state of mind
(adventure activities, in an unfamiliar
environment, together with the perceived
element of risk, facilitates this mental
state)
The emphasis is on training for impact
encompassing:
1. participant learning impact through
improved knowledge and skills
2. behavioural change impact through transfer
of learning to the job as well as change
in belief, values and work ethos
3. operational results impact on business
