How your training time will be broadly
organised-
The training is based on the specific
needs of the client. We work with key
functionaries in the company to assist
in identifying the areas for training
and then develop need based programmes.
The training package consist of the following
modules:
1. Pre-training need assessment. (2 hours)
2. Pre-training briefing and interaction
with participants. (2 hrs - at the workplace)
3. The Main Thematic modules. ( 3-5 days
at the camps)
4. Post-training synthesizing module.
(at the campsite & 2 hrs at the workplace
1 week later)
5. Feedback and overall evaluation. (4
hours at the workplace 1 month later)
Details of the main thematic modules
Wildrift training packages make extensive
and creative use of the setting and activity
resources of its adventure camps. Each
thematic module consists of the following
essential components:
· an exercise designed to meet learning
objectives through the use of one or more
of the various camp activities (rock-climbing,
kayaking, hiking, bird watching,etc) and/or
the camp setting (lakes, forest, trees,
camp-site). Depending on the interest
and physical fitness of the participants
these are used as the basis for customizing
the training. At times techniques from
Neuro-linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy
are also used.
· a mini-lecture type briefing before
the exercise
· a discussion for debriefing after the
exercise
It may include the following additional
components:
· mini-debates (transferable to meal times,
waiting time-fillers, etc)
· ice breakers and/or energisers (designed
in the spirit of "camp games" in tune
with the learning objectives of a particular
module)
Besides these all training programmes
include the following modules:
· a familiarisation and introduction
module at the beginning (which is designed
to introduce the participants not only
to the concept and content of the particular
training package but also to the potentials
and limitations of outdoor training and
to allow "settling in" time for familiarisiation
with the training environment and choosing
activities that they would be most comfortable
with in training exercises), and · a synthesising
module at the end (which is designed to
help participants reflect on how best
to maximize the worth of the training
through re-inforcing follow-up activities,
convergence with indoor training, etc).
The Corporate Co-operate training packages
make extensive and creative use of the
setting and activity resources of Wildrift's
adventure camps.
* We begin by doing a detailed pre-training
need assessment
* Based on this information, the training
modules are designed. The training design
seeks to converge behavioural training
goals with real life issues. The programmes
are designed to complement and reinforce
your existing training agendas so as to
meet the more holistic corporate training
goals.
* To ensure continuity in learning, the
programme has various follow-up initiatives
through post-training support by way of
suggestions, networking and structuring.
Therefore Wildrift's training works best
for those companies looking for impacts
beyond the mere training event.
