Wildrift
Adventures creates meaningful outbound
interventions to help stimulate and motivate
the younger generations. In these programmes
the children go to villages, forests and
other natural habitations to do conservation
and developmental work. The focus of the
programmes is to provide an opportunity
to the children to explore development
and environment concepts and to do some
hands on work in ongoing development initiatives
projects
PERSONAL
ENRICHMENT
These
programmes help bring out changes in how
children think, behave and feel. The main
idea is to go back to nature to discover
your basic self. The children are taught
how to cope with difficult situations
and are helped to look within and find
answers. The main focus is to build sensitivity.
Also the children realise about various
options in life and it helps them to make
the right choices for their careers. The
children are encouraged to work in teams
and their leadership potential is developed.
THE
ENVIRONMENT BASE
Central
to all the programmes listed above is
our environment workshop, designed to
help children synthesize this fun filled
learning into an exciting experience which
contribute to their growing up. The various
components of these workshops include
afforestation, wildlife, bird watching,
waste management, nature workshop, alternate
energy, medicinal plants and herbs, lakes,
rivers and mountains.
